Provide all new joining / promotee Chief Officers and Masters with 08 hours of classroom training in the company's Navigation policies and procedures. It additionally provides, also, also a brief overview of select critical policies pertaining to the safe and effective management of the vessel, as per company and other mandatory requirements. It also aims to additionally convey owner specific requirements which may be different/exceed company requirements as highlighted and provided by the relevant Technical groups managing the said vessels.

The training institute shall provide an adequately equipped classroom with adequate audio visual aids as well good seating arrangement to allow for liberal interaction between and amongst faculty and candidates.

To ensure that the trainee is suitably familiar with the company's procedures, policies and practices. To also include a healthy interaction whereby suggestions for improvement and feedback can be shared on a common platform.
