Capt. Gilroy Quadros passed out of T.S. Rahaman in the year 2003 and thereafter completed his Diploma from BITS Pilani & B.Sc. in Nautical Science from Mumbai University. He has a sailing experience of about 14 years in a single company, mainly on Gas Tankers (LPG/ LNG vessels).

He started off his shore career as a Marine Superintendent, where he worked for 2.5 years and then transitioned into training. He is a faculty in various deck courses and part of the ECDIS support cell at FMTI.
