Engine Room Simulator

	Mimic Panel of machinery system Machinery and pipeline mimic panel of the full mission engine room simulator displays the pipeline layout of the engine room of a modern oil tanker. Trainees operate valves and machineries on the panel.
Engine Control Room Engine Control Room simulates the exact environment and features of ECR. It is provided with generator control and synchronizing panels, main engine controls, starter panel of all machines, monitors to observer parameters, automatic alarm loggers and action loggers.

Wall Wash Test Laboratory

	Wall wash test lab is used to give practical training to staff joining chemical tankers. The test are carried out to ascertain the cleanliness of the cargo tanks for a particular cargo.

Computer & Web based Training

	A large no of computer based training modules including audio visual CBT, Videos, Presentations and Documentations are provided on our website. Trainees log on with their unique ID to access it and results are automatically recorded.

In-house Videos

The FMTI produces videos that ensure familiarization training specific to the company and ships. The videos are made on safety familiarization, navigational equipment, cargo equipment, cargo handling and engine room familiarization. The videos are shot on board the vessels of Fleet Management Limited, edited and voiced over at the institute. The complete production process is done by staff of the institute resulting in high quality in terms of content and cost effective in terms of value. These videos provide great help in ensuring that staffs joining our ships are well aware of the ship layout, equipments on board, safety and cargo care.
